A glass of cold detox juice helps when living in a hot climate like Hong Kong. However, a bottle of fresh juice comes with an expensive price tag. Today we will be introducing our favourite 3 detox juice online recipes that are easy and quick to make for everyone.

It’s been proven that juicing helps with weight loss, improve digestion and liver function and boosts energy.

Carrot Clementine and Pineapple juice

According to Healthline, clementines are a great source of vitamin C. Eating one clementine is enough to cover 40% of your daily vitamin c needs.

Carrots contains good source of beta carotene, vitamin k1, potassium and antioxidants etc. They have also been linked to lower cholesterol and improve eye health.

For this recipe, you will need:

2 Clementines, peeled

1 carrot, peeled

1/2 small pineapple

1cm piece peeled ginger

Peel and dice the carrots, put in the juicer along with the clementines and ginger. Juice following the instructions for your machine. Pour into a large glass and serve.

Berry Juice

Berries help improve our blood sugar and insulin response and also provide vital nutrients such as vitamin c, manganese and vitamin k1 etc.

For this recipe, you will need:

Rasperries 128 grams

Blueberries 128 grams

Blackberries 128 grams

2 apples

Wash all the fruit. Core the apples and cut into slices. Mix all the fruit in the blender and serve.

Beetroot juice

Some of you might get put off with a dark red smoothie but beetroot contains a variety of antioxidants, vitamin A, B-6 and iron, which helps our liver remove toxins. (Great for when you have a hangover)

For this recipe, you will need:

1 apple

1 beet

1tbsp of honey 

Prepare the beets:

Trim the tops off the beets before washing. Make sure you leave the skins intact to get all the nutrients. Chop the beets into pieces.

Core and chop the apples into slices. Blend all the fruits, add in the honey and blend until smooth.
